사회적 관계망 속에서 얻을 수 있는 모든 긍정적인 자원을 의미하는 사회적 지지는 타인과의수혜와 제공이라는 측면에서 Axel Honneth의 ‘인정이론’과 연결된다. Honneth는 예나시기 Hegel 의 상호주관성이론과 Mead의 사회심리학 자아형성이론에 근거하여 한 개인이 완전한 자기 정체성에 도달하는 길은 자신의 욕구, 이성, 개성과 같은 속성들이 사회적 상호작용을 하고 있는 상대방으로부터 격려와 지지를 받는다는 생각이 들 때 즉, 자신이 속한 공동체의 타인들로부터 ‘인정’받을 때 가능하다고 보았다. 개인의 긍정적 자기 인식은 타인들로부터의 ‘인정’에 의존하고 있는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 인정의 개념을 사회적 지지의 교환으로 간주하여, 사회적 지지를 통해 초등학생들이 자신을 긍정적으로 인식할 수 있다는 이론적 근거를 탐색하였다. 다양한 선행 연구들의 고찰을 통해 사회적 지지의 개념, 구성요인, 수혜와 제공이 갖는 효과 등을 도출하였으며, 이를 Honneth의 ‘인정’ 개념과 연관 지어 사회적 지지를 통한 긍정적 자기 인식을 설명하였다. 특히, 자신의 사회적 지지가 의미 있는 타인들의 지지를 불러오고, 이로 인해 사회적 지지의제공자가 긍정적 자기 인식을 가질 수 있다는 유의미한 시사점을 도출하였다. 이러한 결과는 초등학교 교실 현장에서 사회적 지지를 활용하여 학생들이 긍정적 자아를 형성하는 교수․학습 환경을설계하는 데 도움을 주며, 나아가 학생들 간 ‘관계맺음’의 실패에서 오는 집단 따돌림, 학교 폭력등 학교 내 사회 문제들을 해결하기 위한 유의미한 정보를 제공한다.
Social support, which means all the positive resources available in the social network, is linked to Axel Honneth s “Anerkennungstheorie” in terms of benefiting and providing with others. Honneth argues that the way in which a person can reach full self-identity based on Hegel s theory of mutual subjectivity and Mead s social psychology and self-formation theory is that his attributes, such as his desire, reason and personality, It is possible when you feel encouraged and supported by your opponent, that is, when you are ‘acknowledged’ from others in your community. Individuals positive self-recognition depends on ‘recognition’ from others. Therefore, in this study, we considered the concept of recognition as an exchange of social support, and theoretically explored the process by which elementary school students can recognize themselves positively through social support. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the concept of social support, the factor of constitution, the effect of benefiting and providing of social support were elucidated. Especially, the implication of providing the social support of his / her self - These results help students to form a positive self by using social support in the classroom in the elementary school, and also provide clues to solve social problems such as bullying and violence caused by conflicts among students in school.
