This study aims to lay the groundwork for the development of successful rehabilitation education to promote social adaptation of Persons with adventitious Visual Impairments. For this purpose, this study examined the actual situation and improvement plan of rehabilitation education based on the subjective experiences identified through interviews with relevant field experts and parties. Through this, the purpose of this study was to clarify the meaning of rehabilitation education of experts and visually impaired people in the research, and to identify the problems of rehabilitation education based on their experiences and to suggest the improvement plan accordingly.
For successful rehabilitation education for Person with adventitious Visual Impairments, the key element was to strengthen the rehabilitation education suitable for the life cycle, to strengthen the individualization education, and to support the fusional special education intervention plan to enhance the positive psychological support. For this purpose, discussions about the fusional special educational interventions in the curriculum and the network activation of relevant experts and institutions were drawn up as a research project.
