The purpose of this study was to develop career exploration program based on Adler’s theory for middle school students, and career attitude maturity and career decision making self-efficacy variable were selected to verify the effects of this program empirically. According to the program development model, the 10-times career exploration program was developed. This program contains the basic concepts of Adler’s theory as inferiority, life-style, encouragement, career path etc. To verify the effects of this program empirically, 27 middle school boys were selected(12 experimental group, 15 control group). The career exploration program was administered to the experimental group and pre and post tests were conducted to both groups. The collected data were analyzed by repeated measures MANOVA and ANOVA. The analysis results showed the meaningful effects of this program to above both variables(the career attitude maturity and career decision making self-efficacy). So this career exploration program increased the sense of challenge for the future through understanding and acceptance of inferiority, and had the positive contribution to career exploration of middle school students.
