본 연구는 새롭게 출판된 초등학교 3∼6학년 음악교과서의 서양곡 중심의 감상활동으로 다른 예술영역 및 교과와의 연계내용을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 분석 결과 춤과 미술은 초등학교 3~6학년 전체 음악교과서에서 다른 예술영역의 연계활동으로 제시하고 있으나, 5~6학년은 3~4학년에 비해 비교적 적은 양이 제시되었다. 다른 교과와의 연계로는 3~4학년에서는 인문영역이 5~6학년에서는 인문, 사회, 자연과학 영역에서 제시되었다.. 연극, 영화영역에서는 감상활동에 따른 연계활동을 찾아보기 어렵거나 극히 일부만 제시되어 있다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of activities focousing on appreciation of Western music in the third through sixth grade elementary school music textbooks published in 2018 and 2019. The results are as follows: As integration with other art forms, dance and art are presented in the entire music textbooks of grades 3-6, but the amount are less in grades 5-6 than grades 3-4. In connection with other subjects, humanities were presented in grades 3-4 and humanities, social, and natural sciences in grades 5-6. It is difficult to find or only a few presented music appreciation activities integrating with theatre and movie areas.
