This study was conducted in six social welfare Facilities in Seoul. The purpose of this study was to identify the nature of organizational culture through the phenomenological reduction process of working experience recognition of members of social welfare facilities. As a result, it was found that the organizational culture of the social welfare facilities was contextualized by ‘communication method’, ‘decision making structure’, ‘professional strengthening’, ‘responding to government support private facilities operation’ and ‘village community orientation’. What is noteworthy in this study is the discovery of factors that could not be found in existing quantitative studies. This is a characteristic of qualitative research, but it is also a result reflecting the cultural elements of Korean society. This characteristic is also an implication of this work. Therefore, this study will provide basic data for quantitative and qualitative research on social welfare facilities organizational culture.
