Generally, in art education, students focus on learning how to draw objects efficiently in a limited time rather than observing and expressing them for a long time. The result is the problem of drawing objects without properly observing them. In the brain science, this problem is mainly seen the left-brain oriented educational environment that seeks rational results. In other words, because of the learning method focused on the technique of drawing objects efficiently, it is difficult for students to observe and express the actual objects. Therefore, this study suggests the drawing education using the-right brain to improve observation. In view of this, the concept and historical change of drawing are examined. And the meaning of observation is examined. Also the significance of drawing education using the right-brain is examined. After that, we develop a drawing program to an high school students who major in art and examine its educational values. The conclusion is as follows. First, the program helped students improve their observation ability. Second, the program expanded the students concept of drawing. Third, through the balanced experience of the whole brain, it became an activity to stimulate students‘ creativity.
