본 연구는 질적 해석적 메타통합(Qualitative Interpretive M eta-Synthesis : QIMS)을 활용하여 재가 치매노인 가족 케어기버를 대상으로 돌봄 경험의 의미를 수집하고 탐색하는 것이다. 총 112명의 가족 케어기버 관점에서 치매노인 돌봄 경험의 의미를 이해하기 위해 간호학, 사회복지학, 가정관리학 및 아동학(아동가족심리치료)과 같은 다양한 분야의 연구가 포함되었다. 12편의 논문을 통합하여 분석한 결과 (1) 고립되고 지친 삶에 얽힘, (2) 치매와 살아가는 치열한 과정들, (3) 두려움 속 미래에 대한 기대와 희망을 포함한 3개의 주제가 창출되었다. 향후 가족 케어기버와 관련된 부정적인 영향을 줄이기 위한 지속적인 노력과 탐구가 필요하며, 재가 치매노인과 그 가족에 대한 공식적인 지원의 필요성과 인식이 높아질 수 있도록 그들의 경험에 대한 구체적인 이해를 제공할 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to collect and explore the meaning of care experience in family care givers of the elderly with dementia using qualitative interpretive meta-synthesis (QIMS). In order to understand the meaning of care experience for the elderly with dementia from the perspective of 112 family care givers, research in various fields such as nursing, social welfare, home care and child care (child family psychotherapy) were included. As a result of analyzing 12 papers, three themes were newly derived: (1) entanglement in isolated and weary life, (2) intense processes of living with dementia, and (3) expectation and hope for the future in fear. In the future, continuous efforts and exploration are needed to reduce negative effects related to family care givers, and specific understanding of their experiences will be provided so that the need and awareness of formal support for the elderly with dementia at home and their families can be enhanced.
