The purpose of this study was to elicit a significance that the instructional consulting influences the cultivation of early childhood music instructors expertise, through exploring a change in the instructional consulting process for enhancing early childhood music instructors. To achieve the research objective, the research subjects were selected totally 6 early childhood music instructors(3 mentee, 3 mentor) who take an active role in the after-school program of a kindergarten and a child care center in Seoul Metropolis. After passing through the preparation stage, the totally 10-week instructional consulting and evaluation stage were undergone. To gather data, teaching observation, in-depth interview, study note and video materials were collected. The domain analysis, the classification system analysis, and the analysis through contrast-set classification questions were executed. Veracity was secured through crossing checking and triangulation among research subjects. As a result of the research, the instructional consulting process for promoting early childhood music instructors professionalism can be known to function importantly as leading a change to enhance early childhood music instructors expertise such as newly understanding professionalism as an early childhood music instructor, re-conceptualizing the essence of early childhood music education, assuring an effort to habituate and improve reflective thinking, and necessity recognition a support for systematic instructional consulting for the continuous supply and development.
