본 연구의 목적은 초등학교의 일반교육 교사들이 통합교육을 실행하는 과정에서 요구하는 지원을 더욱 확대하고 강화하기 위해 필요로 하는 자원과 전략을 알아보는 데 두고, 초등학교의 일반교육 교사 112명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 이들의 통합교육 실행을 위한 지원요구와 자원의 이용 가능성의 차이를 분석하고, 지원의 개선 전략을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 일반교육 교사들은 통합교육 실행에 필요로 하는 자원이 지원요구에 비해 부족하다고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 현재의 인적자원, 환경자원, 재정자원은 지원을 지속하고, 교수자원에 대한 지원을 집중하는 전략의 도입을 요구하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 일반교육 교사들의 경험에 따르면 통합교육의 실행은 필요로 하는 지원에 비해 자원의 이용 가능성이 낮아 어려움이 많은 바, 이런 상황을 개선하기 위해서는 현재의 인적자원, 환경자원, 재정자원은 계속 지원하고, 교수자원에 대한 지원을 집중하는 전략의 도입을 요구한다고 할 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiences of support needs and resources utilization of general education teachers for the implementation of inclusive education. This study selected 112 general education teachers of elementary schools and analyzed the experiences of general education teachers. The results of this study are as follows: First, it was found that general education teachers perceived that the resources needed for the implementation of inclusive education were insufficient compared to support needs. Second, it was found that general education teachers are demanding the introduction of a strategy that continues to support current human resources, environmental resources, and financial resources and focuses on teaching resources to implementation of inclusive education. Therefore, according to the experiences of general education teachers, the implementation of inclusive education has a lower availability of resources than the support required, so it is necessary to introduce a strategy to expand the support of teaching resources while continuing to support human resources, environmental resources, and financial resources.
