본 연구는 청소년들의 인터넷 중독에 영향을 주는 것으로 예측되는 내현적 자기애와의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족과 특성분노의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이에 2017년 12월 11일부터 충남 소재 중학생을 대상으로 수집된 261명 중 유효한 239명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 사용한 척도는 내현적 자기애, 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족, 특성분노, 인터넷 중독 척도를 사용하였으며, SPSS v.21과 Process Macro를 사용하여 상관분석과 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애, 인터넷 중독, 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족, 특성분노 간의 상관관계가 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 인터넷 중독 간의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족과 특성분노의 이중매개 및 부분매개효과가 검증되었다. 이는 청소년들의 내현적 자기애가 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족에 영향을 주고, 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족이 특성분노에 영향을 주어 결과적으로 인터넷 중독 경향성을 높인다는 의미이다. 따라서 인터넷 중독 청소년들의 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족과 특성분노를 다루는 개입이 필요하다. 본 연구 결과는 내현적 자기애, 불확실성에 대한 인내력부족, 특성분노와 인터넷 중독 간의 관계를 종합적으로 검증하였다는데 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of intolerance of uncertainty and trait anger in relation to covert narcissism, which is predicted to affect adolescents internet addiction. Therefore, we used 239 data from 261 students collected from middle school students in Chungnam Province on December 11, 2017. The scale used consisted of covert narcissism, intolerance of uncertainty, trait anger, and internet addiction scale. The correlation analysis and mediating effects were verified using SPSS v.21 and Process Macro. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between covert narcissism, internet addiction, intolerance of uncertainty, and trait anger. Second, both intolerance of uncertainty and trait anger was verified the dual mediation and partial mediation effects on between covert narcissism and internet addiction. This implies that covert narcissism of adolescents affects intolerance of uncertainty and it affects trait anger, so that lifts internet addiction tendency in the result. Therefore, it is necessary for intervention about intolerance of uncertainty and trait anger for adolescents with internet addiction. This result are implication for reviewing about relationship between intolerance of uncertainty, trait anger, covert narcissism, and internet addiction.
