The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship among the college students internal control, social support, career exploration behavior, and career decision level, and to verify the mediating effect on the social support and career exploration behavior between the internal control and career decision level.
The research questions established to achieve such research objective are as follows. First, how is the relation between among the college students internal control, social support, career exploration behavior, and career decision level? Second, how is the mediating effect on the social support and career exploration behavior in the effect of personal internal control on the career decision level? This study was to conduct the questionnaire survey as an object of 336 college students who were attending in three universities, located in the D city. Of them all, this study was to utilize 301 effective questionnaires except insincerely responded questionnaires or unfinished questionnaires as analysis data.
From the result of this research above, it may be summed up as follows.
First, for the correlation of variables, this study has shown that there was very significant positive correlation among the variables like internal control, social support, career exploration behavior, and career decision level. Second, this study has found out that the social support provided partial mediating effect between the college students internal control and career decision level, and that the career exploration behavior did not provide a significant mediating effect.
