The purpose of this study was to study the mother s awareness of infants right to play, participation in play, and the sense of infant s happiness. This study was conducted by 347 mothers with children aged 3 to 5 in Jeollanam-do. The data processing of the study was conducted with t-test, one-way ANOVA verification and Duncan post-verification to see if there was any difference between mother awareness, play participation, and infant s sense of happiness based on the mother s demographic and sociological background. In addition, Pearson s correlation analysis was conducted to find out the relationship between mother awareness, play participation, and the sense of infant s happiness with the right to play, and to find out the influence of the variables, a medium-term analysis was conducted. The study, which examined the relationship between the mother s perception of the right to play and the infant s happiness, showed that the whole sub-factor of the mother s perception had a static
correlation with the whole sub-factor of the infant s happiness, and the study on the mother s participation in play and the impact on the infant s happiness also showed that there was a significant static correlation between the whole mother s play participation in play and the infant happiness. In other words, outdoor play, play safety, and play time were found to have a valid impact on the happiness of infants in the mother s awareness of their right to play. And the mother s participation in play was shown to be a significant factor in physical play and role play, which had a significant impact on the happiness of infants.
