본 연구의 목적은 인공와우를 한 청각장애인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하는데 있다. 이를 위해 인공와우 시술 경험이 있는 청각장애인 163명을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 종속변수는 삶의 질을 설정하였으며, 독립변수는 인공와우 착용기간과 언어치료 및 청능훈련 기간, 의사소통 대처전략, 부모 지지, 건청인 지지였다. 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인을 확인하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 부모 지지와 건청인 지지가 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 즉, 부모 지지와 건청인 지지가 높을수록 삶의 질이 향상된다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이를 기반으로 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.
The aim of this study is to investigate the factors to have an effect on the quality of life of deaf people with cochlear implants. There were 163 deaf people who had gotten surgery for cochlear implants for this study. The independent variable is a duration of cochlear implant use, the period of speech therapy and auditory training, communication strategies, parent support and hearing people support. The dependent variable is the quality of life of deaf people with cochlear implants. To examine the important factors to have an effect on quality of life was estimated by hierarchical regression analyses The result shows that parent support and hearing people s support have the positive influence on the quality of life. That is to say, the higher parent support and hearing people s support are, the higher the quality of deaf people with cochlear implant is. It suggests several implications on the result.
