본 연구는 중년기 성인의 부부간 애착손상과 신체화간의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 수행되었다. 자료수집 기간은 2020년 2월 1일부터 3월 20일까지였으며, 총 311부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro 3.1을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 애착손상과 신체화는 정적상관을 보였고, 애착손상과 자기자비는 부적상관을, 자기자비와 신체화는 부적상관을 나타냈다. 또한 애착손상과 신체화간의 관계에서 자기자비 및 자기자비의 하위 요인인 자기친절, 보편적 인간성, 마음챙김은 모두 부분 매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 중년기 성인의 애착 손상은 신체화에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 반면 자기자비를 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치기도 함을 의미한다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 애착손상으로 인한 신체화를 호소하는 내담자에게 자기자비를 높이는 상담 개입 방안을 제시하였다.
Objectives: This study investigates the mediating effect of self-compassion on the relationship between attachment injury and somatization of middle-aged adults. Methods: A total of 311 middle-aged adults participated in the study, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and SPSS PROCESS macro 3.1. Results: The study results are as follows: First, attachment injury and somatization showed significant positive correlation, whereas there are negative correlations between attachment injury and self-compassion, and between self-compassion and somatization. Second, self-compassion and all sub-factors of self-compassion also had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between attachment injury and somatization. Conclusions:The results of this study suggest that counseling intervention plans to increase self-compassion are proposed for clients who complain of somatization due to attachment injury.
