The main purpose of this study was to examine the concurrent validity and construct validity of Maze in Korean. Although CBM-Maze is one of most useful measures in reading, in addition to CBM-reading aloud, little research has focused on evaluating its validity. This study used a standardized reading comprehensive test for testing the validity of Maze in Korean. The results from this study showed that Maze scores in Korean were moderately correlated with subtest scores of KOLRA. In particular, there were high correlation coefficients with reading fluency and reading comprehension. The results from structural equation modeling supported that the hypothesized model, in which reading fluency and reading comprehension was only included, were the best-fitting model for Maze in Korean. Implications for research and education were discussed.
