Data processing was performed using the statistical software SPSS 24.0, AMOS 22.0, and Microsoft Excel (2016) programs, descriptive statistics analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation model analysis (SEM). The findings are as follows. First, the body perception of elementary students participating in sports club activities partially affected empathy and physical education class expectations. Second, the exercise perception of elementary students participating in sports club activities partially affected empathy and physical education class expectations. Third, the empathy of elementary students participating in sports club activities influenced the expectation of physical education classes. Fourth, the students revealed an indirect (mediated) effect on the relationship between physical perception and physical education class expectations.
