The objective of this study is to develop and apply a psychological skills training program based on mindfulness/acceptance & commitment, and then to verify its effects on the performance, sport psychological skills, acceptance behavior, and sport mindfulness of high school female judo athletes. Following the systematic counseling program development model by Park In-Woo(1995) based on the mindfulness/acceptance & commitment approach, this study established a program based on total six steps like research, analysis, design, composition, application, and evaluation. After selecting ten high school female judo athletes in U city of Gyeonggi-do as experimental group, and selecting 12 high school female judo athletes in G city of Gyeongsangbuk-do as control group, total nine sessions of the psychological skills training program based on mindfulness/acceptance & commitment developed by the researcher were provided to the experimental group two times a week. On top of conducting the test on the performance, sport psychological skills, acceptance behavior, and sport mindfulness before/after the program, this study also performed the Mann-Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test. As a result, the level of performance, sport psychological skills, acceptance behavior, and sport mindfulness of the experimental group was significantly improved.
