본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 음악과 교육과정에 제시된 ‘음악적 소통 역량’을 개념화여중학생 대상 검사도구를 개발하고, ‘음악적 소통 역량’과 관련되는 학생 배경변인들을 탐색해보는 것이다. 예비검사를 거친 후 최종 23개 문항으로 음악지식, 표현력, 감상력, 응용력의 4개의요인으로 구성된 검사도구를 210명의 남녀 중학생 대상으로 실시하여 개발하였다. 내용타당도와 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 검사도구의 타당성을 확보하였고, Cronbach-α 신뢰도 지수(α=.956) 에 의해 신뢰도가 검증되었다. 관련변인 탐색 결과는 성별, 학교 외 음악교육 경험 유무, 음악적소질 인식, 음악 모둠수업에서의 소통, 음악 공연 참여 선호가 음악적 소통 역량과 유의미한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to develop the scale of musical communication competency for middle-school students and explore its related variables. After a pilot study, the instrument of 23 items, which consisted of music knowledge, expression, appreciation, and application, was developed. For the scale, content validity and explorative factor analysis were made, and Cronbach s α (.956) proved the reliability of the scale. Also, students gender, the experience of music lessons out of school, perception of his/her own musical talent, communication in music group class, and preference for participation in music performances were found to be related to musical communication competency.
