The purpose of this study is to identify adjustment emotion and parenting emotion of mothers focused on children-related valuables and mothers’ occupation types. The subjects of this study were 255mothers sampled in metropolis, urban and rural areas in Gangwon Province. This study was processed in an online-based KSDC-DB (Korean Social Science Data Center) system. SPSS 24.0 and Multivariate Analyses of Variance(MANOVA) were used to analyze the collected data and examine mothers’ emotion. We found some aspects of mothers’ emotion. Above all, there were significant correlations among all sub-factors of mothers’ emotion types(Parenting Emotion & Adjustment Emotion). Second, there were significant differences only in Parenting Satisfaction and Parenting Role-overload factors among mothers’ Parenting Emotion by children’s developmental stages. Third, there were no significant differences in mothers’ emotion by their children’s gender. Fourth, there were not significant differences in mothers’ emotion by their children’s number, either. Finally, there were significant differences only in Stress and Fulfillment factors among mothers’ Adjustment Emotion by their occupation types such as full-time, part-time worker, or full-time home maker. Depending on these results, some implications and limitations are suggested for future emotional research.
