성은 인류공동체를 형성하는 근원이다. 인류역사는 성으로부터 시작되어 성으로 이어져간다고 볼 수 있다. 가정과 인류공동체의 안정과 복지, 그리고 역사의 발전을 위해서 성(性)의 질서가 요구된다. 성의 질서는 공동체 구성원의 성의식과 성태도에 의해 형성되며, 그 성의식들의 보편적 법칙이 성규범이다.1) 가정과 사회에서 성의 질서를 유지하기 위해서는 가정과 사회구성원들이 성규범을 준수해야 그 질서가 가능하다. 존재의 보편적 법칙, 즉 성규범을 준수하는 삶은 순결한 성의 삶을 산다고 말할 수 있다. 순결한 삶을 산다는 의미는 순결한 성의 구현을 의미한다. 성규범은 인간이 순결한 삶을 살아가는 기준이며, 순결한 삶을 살아야하는 이유를 말해주며, 순결한 삶으로 안내하며, 순결하게 살아가는 방법을 알려준다. 이 논고는 성규범을 준수하는 삶으로서의 순결한 성이 무엇이며, 어떠한 삶을 사는 것이 순결한 성의 구현인가를 탐색하여 왜곡된 성의식과 성태도를 근원적으로 해결할 수 있는 순결한 성규범교육을 그 해결방안으로 제안하는 목적이 있다. 이 글은 통일사상의 시각으로 존재의 보편적 법칙에 따른 순결한 성의 의미로서 논의를 전개하고자한다.
Sexuality is the origin of the human community. Human history has continued through human sexuality. A public order of sexuality is needed for the peaceful prosperity of families, communities, and societies. A public order of sexuality is established by the sexual awareness and sexual attitudes of the constituent family and community members. The universal laws of human sexual awareness are the norms of sexuality. In order to continue the public order of sexuality in families and communities, human beings should follow the norms of sexuality. Following the universal laws, namely, living a life that obeys the norms of sexuality implies living a life of pure love. The norms of sexuality mean the standards, reasons, guidelines, and ways of a life of pure love. The purpose of this paper is to suggest fundamental and comprehensive solutions for the sexual problems of our societies, through a critical examination of the primary factors of the problems of distorted sexuality in our societies. This thesis also considers what a life of pure love is, how to follow universal laws and how to live lives of pure love. This paper discusses pure love sexuality as following universal laws from the perspective of unification thought.
