The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mothers’ religiosity and religious practice on their self-efficacy. The subjects were 175 mothers whose children were enrolled 5 Buddhist kindergartens which were located in Gyengsangbook-Do. Frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, T-test, F-test, Pearson’s correlation, regression analysis were used for data analysis. The results were as follows. First, the mothers had the slightly strong religiosity of extrinsic than the religiosity of intrinsic. Also the mothers had showed the strongest practice in precepts of religion. And mothers showed a good self-efficacy. Second, there were significant different in the mothers’ religiosity and the practice according to their socio-economic status. Third, there was a strong effect of Mothers’ religiosity on their religious practice. Fourth, there were significant effects of mothers’ religiosity and practice on their self-efficacy. To conclude, the religious education will be useful for the both religiosity enrichment and general education.
