This study is aimed to analyze the latest international music curriculum to set the direction for the revision of the next curriculum. Targeting curriculum in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Germany, France, and Finland, comprehensive trends are identified by comparing and analyzing goals and competencies, content, achievement standards, teaching and learning, and evaluation. And it is discussed in the latest educational research by OECD and the EU. Based on this, comprehensive results and implications were derived for the composition method and content of general competencies and music competencies, the characteristics of the music content area, the content and form of the achievement standard statement, the content of teaching and learning, and evaluation, and the competency linkage method.
