In this study I review the possibility of more active religion education of catholics econdary schools under the 7th national curriculum. The new 7th national curriculum makes new circums tances for relative autonomy of catholic school to do more religion education. But now there are no prominent try to use this new opportunity in these catholic secondary schools. For example I asked to the teachers of religion education that what's the difference between the 6th and 7th national curriculum in the catholic high schools. Among the 21respondent schools, 8 teachers said that the 7th national curriculum influenced affirmatively to the religion education and 13 teachers replied "negative". As a result only 38.1% of all the respondent sex pressed that the 7th national curriculum did good influence on the catholic religion education. So it may be needed to do more active experiment to activate catholic religion education under the new 7th national curriculum. To do this, every school have to try to develop more diverse programs about the religious experiences and recruit the teacher on religion education. And also CCE(The Committee on the Catholic Education) need to develop textbooks, education programs and teacher training programs. Then we can make the catholic school to be more catholic school.
