In this study, on the premise that multicultural education in connection with the curriculum of individual subjects can establish continuity and systemicity of multicultural education, art classes are designed by linking multicultural education-related materials to art curriculum content, and are conducted for middle school students. By analyzing the results, it was attempted to diagnose the possibilities and limitations of multicultural education in connection with art subjects at school sites, and to obtain implications. The results derived from this study were first, that the students showed a sympathetic attitude in the light of their own experiences, thinking of minorities in the works as dignified human beings with innate human rights, and a tolerant attitude toward differences about their differences. showed Second, the art subject-linked approach to multicultural sensitivity education helped students to reach empathic understanding by emphasizing the specific direction of multicultural education and integration with learners emotions and emotions.
In this process, the researcher was able to infer that art can actively contribute to the development of students multicultural sensitivity.
