본 연구는 학교 자원이 초등학교 교사의 교원능력개발평가 학부모 만족도 조사 결과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 학교 자원은 교사와 관련한 인적자원, 시설 및 도서와 관련한 물적자원으로 나누어 보았다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 교원능력개발평가 학부모 만족도 조사 결과는 학교 자원 여부에 의해 달라지는 경향이 있었다. 학교의 신입교사 비율, 학생 1인당 장서 수에 따라 학부모 만족도 조사 결과는 달랐다. 둘째, 다중회귀분석에서는 수업교원 1인당 학생 수가 적고, 특수 교수학습공간 비율이 낮은 학교일수록, 학생 1인당 장서 수가 많은 학교일수록 학부모 만족도 점수가 높았다. 이는 학부모의 교사에 대한 평가가 학교 차원의 자원에 미치는 영향을 받으며, 교원능력개발평가의 학부모 만족도 조사 결과를 해석할 때는 학교 자원에 대한 고려가 필요함을 시사한다.
This study is about the relationship between school resources and the results of teacher evaluations by parents. While much literature focuses on the suitability of parents participating in teacher evaluations, this study looks at what factors other than teachers’ ability affects how parents evaluate them. This study is limited to Changwon city and focuses on two dimensions: teachers and educational material resources. The results of a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test indicate that new-teacher ratio and book-student ratio are both related to parents’ evaluations of teachers. In addition, multiple regression results illustrate that teachers in schools with a higher ratio of special classrooms are given lower evaluation scores by parents, and teachers in schools with more books tend to be awarded higher evaluation scores by parents.
