연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 체계적인 융합교육 실행을 위하여 국내 대학의 융합교육 상황을 살펴보았다. 그리고 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스에서 융합전공을 이수중인 재학생과 교원을 대상으로 융합교육에 대한 인식을 파악해보고자 하였다. 연구내용 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스의 재학생과 교원 대상, 자체 개발한 설문지를 토대로 2020년 5월에 인식조사를 시행하였다. 그리고 융합전공을 이수중인 재학생 70명과 무선 표집방식으로 선정한 182명의 교원 응답지를 확보하였다. 연구결과 재학생 70명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행한 결과, 융합전공의 이수 이유로는 ‘개인적 관심과 흥미로운 교과목 이수’가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이수중인 융합교육에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 4.56으로 가장 높은 점수를 보였다. 그러나 교과목의 다양성은 3.37로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 융합전공의 개선점에 대해서는 적극적인 홍보가 가장 시급한 것으로 지적하였다. 한편, 182명의 교원 대상으로 융합전공에 대한 인식을 분석한 결과, 40명만이 융합전공에 참여하고 있어 다소 저조한 참여율을 보였다. 융합전공 운영에 대한 인식에서는 국내 대학들과 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 모두 잘 이루어지지 않다는 문항에 132명이 응답하여 전반적으로 부정적인 인식이 자리 잡고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 융합전공이 잘 이루어지지 않는 이유에 대해서는 각 전공 이수체계의 유연성 부족과 담당 부서 및 전문 인력 부족 순으로 나타났다.
PUROPSE The purpose of this study was to examine the convergence education situation of korea domestic universities in order to implement systematic convergence education. In addition, we tried to find out the perception of convergence education targeting students and professors who are taking convergence majors at Dongguk University WISE. CONTENTS A perception survey was conducted in May 2020 based on university self- developed questionnaires for students and professors of Dongguk University WISE. In addition, 70 students who are taking convergence majors and 182 professors respondents selected by random sampling method were secured. RESULTS As a result of conducting a survey of 70 enrolled students, it was found that 'personal concern and interesting subjects' were the most common reasons for taking an convergence major. Overall satisfaction with the convergence education be taking showed the highest Likert 5 point scale score at 4.56. However, for the diversity of subjects Likert 5 point scale score was the lowest at 3.37. Regarding the improvement of the convergence major, it was pointed out that active promotion was the most urgent.
