This study aimed to examine the moderating effects of ego-resilience on relationships between maternal overprotection and academic procrastination. The questionnaires were distributed to 4, 5 and 6 grade elementary school students. The results were as follows. First, higher levels of maternal overprotection predicted significantly higher academic procrastination. But higher levels of ego-resilience predicted significantly lower academic procrastination. Second, ego-resilience moderated the relation between maternal overprotection pressure and academic procrastination perceived by elementary school students.
