Objective : To examine the psychometric properties of the Life Habits Assessment (LIFE-H) using Rasch analyses. Methods : 23 community-dwelling older adults were recruited in South Korea. We performed the interview to measure the LIFE-H. We used Rasch analysis to determine internal validity, reliability, and item difficulty of the LIFE-H. Results : Our results found 16 misfitting items from the accomplishment and satisfaction scales of the LIFE-H, respectively, which indicated internal validity were not satisfactory. After removing 16 misfitting items, the first revised versions of the LIFE-H included 15 items for the accomplishment and satisfaction scales, respectively. Of the 15 items of the first revised versions, the common 8 items of the accomplishment and satisfaction scales were identified and categorized as the second revised version of the LIFE-H. Both revised versions showed good internal validity while the first revised versions had more satisfactory reliability than the second version of the LIFE-H. Conclusions : The revised versions showed satisfactory internal validity and reliability, which can increase its feasibility and effectiveness of evaluating participation.
목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 라쉬분석을 이용하여 참여평가 도구인 LIFE-H(Life Habits Assessments)의 심리평가적 타당성을 조사하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 한국의 지역사회에 거주하는 23명의 성인을 대상으로 실시 되었다. LIFE-H는 인터뷰를 통해 측정되었으며, 라쉬분석을 사용하여 내적 타당도와 신뢰도, 문항의 난이도를 조사하였다. 결과 : LIFE-H의 수행도와 만족도 각각에서 16개의 항목이 부적합한 항목(misfitting item) 으로 분류되었으며, 이는 내적타당도가 만족스럽지 않은 수준임을 나타낸다. 16개의 부적합 항목을 제거한 첫번째 LIFE-H 개정판에서는 만족도와 수행도는 각각 15개의 항목을 포함하고 있었다. 이 15개의 항목 중, 만족도와 수행도 모두에 공통적으로 포함된 8개의 항목만을 추출하여 두번째 LIFE-H 개정판을 만들었다. 첫번째와 두번째 개정판 모두 만족스러운 내적타당도를 보였으며, 첫번째 개정판의 신뢰도가 두번째 개정판보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : LIFE-H의 첫번째와 두번째 개정판 모두 만족스러운 수준의 내적타당도와 신뢰도를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 참여평가도구인 LIFE-H의 이용성과 효율성을 높일 것으로 사료된다.
