본 연구는 만 3-6세 유아와 주양육자 347쌍을 대상으로 부모보고용 유아 사회인지 체크리스트를 개발 및 타당화하고자 하였다. 문헌조사를 기반으로 개발된 초기 44문항의 기술통계치를 분석한 결과, 8문항의 평균과 표준편차가 극단치로 나와서 삭제하였다. 이후 문항의 내용을 분석한 결과, 부적절한 문항 7문항을 추가로 삭제하였다. 신뢰도 분석 및 문항 간 상관, 문항-총점간 상관, 요인간 상관분석 결과 한 문항이 추가로 삭제되어 최종문항으로 7요인 28문항이 선정되었다. 확인적 요인분석 결과, 본 체크리스트의 모형이 적합하며 각 하위요인 내 문항들이 해당 요인을 잘 설명하고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 공인타당도 검증을 위하여 Tahiroglu 등(2014)의 사회적 이해 척도(CSUS)를 실시하였으며, 유아들을 대상으로 김호정, 이인영과 최은실(2023)의 유아용 사회인지 평가 모바일 앱을 실시하여 본 체크리스트와의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 본 부모보고용 유아 사회인지 체크리스트는 사회적 이해 척도 및 유아용 사회인지 평가 모바일앱과 유의한 상관이 나타나 만 3-6세 유아의 사회인지 능력을 측정하기에 타당하고 신뢰로운 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의 및 제한점을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to develop and validate Parent Rating Social Cognition Checklist for young children. It was conducted on 347 caregivers of children aged 3-6, and the final items was selected after analyzing the goodness of items, and the validity of this checklikst was analyzed. As a result of analyzing the descriptive statistics of the initially developed 44 items, the average and standard deviation of the 8 items were found to be extreme values, so they were deleted. After that, as a result of analyzing the contents of the items, seven additional inappropriate items were deleted. As a result of reliability analysis and correlation analysis, one additional item was deleted, and 28 questions were selected as the final question. As a result of Confirmatory Factor Analysis, it was confirmed that the model of this Parent Rating Social Cognition Checklist for young children was appropriate. In addition, as a result of the correlation analysis, it was found that Parent Rating Social Cognition Checklist for young children has a significant correlation with the Children’s Social Understanding Scale(CSUS) and mobile application-based social cognition evaluation tool for young children and it was confirmed that the Parent Rating Social Cognition Checklist for young children was valid and reliable to measure the social cognitive ability of children aged 3-6. Based on these research results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
