이 연구의 목적은 놀이중심 부모코칭 프로그램에 참여한 발달지체유아 부모의 경험과 의미를 알아보고, 이를 바탕으로 부모코칭 프로그램의 방안과 전략을 모색하는 데 있다. 부모코칭에 참여한 7명의 부모를 관찰하고 면담하여 해석학적 현상학 방법으로 분석한 결과, 부모는‘생소한 프로그램 받아들이기’, ‘발달지체유아 부모로서의 어려움 드러내기’, ‘장애가 아닌 내 아이의 모습 그대로 바라보기’의 경험을 한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 부모의 경험을 재해석한 결과, ‘자신의 내면 들여다보기’, ‘놀이 체득하기’, ‘새로운 양육방식 체화하기’라는 의미가 드러났다. 이 연구에서는 효과적인 부모코칭 프로그램 운영을 위한 전략으로, 발달지체유아 부모와 자녀가 함께 실제 놀이에 참여하고, 자녀의 발달과 행복에 중점을 두며, 교사가 긍정적 상호작용을 통해 코칭하고, 협력 교수진을 활용한 개별 맞춤형 코칭을 제안한 것에 그 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences and meanings of parents of children with developmental delays who participated in the play-oriented parent coaching program, and based on this, to search for directions and strategies for the parent coaching program. As a result of observing and interviewing seven parents who participated in parent coaching and analyzing them using a hermeneutic phenomenological method, it was found that parents experienced ‘accepting unfamiliar programs’, ‘revealing the difficulties of being a parent of a child with developmental delays’, and ‘seeing my child as he is, not as a disabled child’. As a result of reinterpreting these parental experiences, the meanings of 'looking inside yourself', ‘acquiring play skills’, ‘internalizing new parenting styles’ were revealed. This study is meaningful in that it is a strategy for effective parent coaching program operation, participating in actual play with parents of children with developmental delays and their children, focusing on the development and happiness of children, coaching teachers through positive interactions, and suggesting individual customized coaching using cooperative faculty.
