연구목적: 본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생이 지각한 부모양육태도와 플로리시의 관계에서 향상초점의 매개효과를 알아보는 데 목적을 둔다. 연구방법: 부산, 경남 지역 4개 초등학교 17개 학급에 재학 중인 5, 6학년 학생 352명의 자료를 분석에 활용하였으며, 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS Process Macro Model 4를 사용하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 고학년 학생이 지각한 긍정적 부모양육태도와 향상초점, 플로리시의 정적상관을 확인하였다. 둘째, 초등학교 고학년 학생이 지각한 긍정적 부모양육태도와 플로리시의 관계에서 향상초점의 부분매개효과를 확인하였다. 결론: 본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생이 지각한 부모양육태도가 플로리시에 미치는 영향에 있어 향상초점의 매개효과를 밝혔다. 이는 초등 고학년 학생의 플로리시를 높이기 위한 부모의 역할과 초등 고학년 학생의 내적 요인인 향상초점 또한 중요함을 시사한다.
Objective: This study examined the mediating effect of promotion focus on the relationship between perceived parenting attitudes and flourish among upper elementary school students. Methods: A survey was conducted with 382 fifth and sixth graders from Busan and Gyeongnam. After excluding insincere responses, data from 352 participants were analyzed. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and SPSS Process Macro 4.3. Results: Positive correlations were found among perceived positive parenting attitudes, promotion focus, and flourish among upper-elementary school students. Second, promotion focus partially mediated the relationship between perceived positive parenting attitudes and flourish among upper-elementary school students. Conclusions: This study revealed the mediating effect of promotion focus on the influence of perceived parenting attitudes on flourish among upper elementary school students. These findings suggest the importance of both parental roles and the internal factor of promotion focus in enhancing flourish among upper elementary school students.
