In this research, I examine the experience of an sexual minority woman in her 20s based on interaction via art therapies. This research started with the story told by an sexual minority woman during art therapies. Second, I examine the meanings of art therapies experienced by this sexual minority woman in her 20s. A total of 13 meetings took place between April 20, 2019 and through one pre-meeting and 12 art treatments. The story told by the sexual minority woman during art therapies are categorized into “An unforgettable first love”, “The beginning of a conflict”, “A choice”, “The sunniest day”, and “Burst into bloom”. The meanings of art therapies for the sexual minority woman in her 20s are categorized into “Tension and margin”, “In concealment”, “Expose me”, “Explore and discover”, “Decide on me”. This inquiry of experiences and the search for the meaning in art therapy provided an opportunity to recognize and reflect on self-prejudice. It is hoped that the narrative inquiry of sexual minorities will contribute to our understanding and understanding of minorities, serving as a basis for attitudes and approaches to be met when meeting with sexual minorities as art therapists.
