In this article, it is pointed out that the standardization of Korean school education was the foundation that allowed more people to access school education while the socio-cultural foundation related to school education was extremely lacking after liberation, and it took a short period of time enough to make higher education universal. Although Korea s school education, which has achieved tremendous quantitative growth within the country, has pursued diversity , it is emphasized that there is no choice but to conflict with fairness in line with the deepening problem of social inequality. In order to solve this problem, a frame change is necessary, and the direction is suggested in two dimensions. First, it was emphasized that diversification of school education is possible only when freedom of choice is given equally through a welfare society where diverse values coexist. In addition, I suggested that the school needs to be restructured as a place where the social life of students is conducted, not as a place for running curriculum.
