본 연구는 청소년의 정서 행동 과잉통제가 청소년 주제통각검사(TAT A)를 통해 발현되는 반응 특성과 청소년의 경험 의미를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2022년 8월부터 9월까지 경기도 소재의 학교에 재학 중인 초등학교 5학년부터 중학교 3학년까지의 청소년 20명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 TAT A 인터뷰를 실시했다. 이는 질적 연구 보고지침(COREQ)에 따라 해석적 현상학적 분석(IPA) 방법과 NVivo 12.0로 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, TAT A 통해 분석된 청소년의 정서 행동 과잉통제는 1) 사회적 비교, 완벽함, 2) 엄격함, 불만과 좌절을 경험, 3) 행동을 억제 등으로 분석되었다. 또한 이는 과잉통제 청소년에게 창의적 활동으로 자기표현을 하도록 돕는 것이었다. 결론적으로 TAT A는 과잉통제 청소년에게 안전한 치유 공간을 제공하였고, 그들에게 실질적이고 심리적 지원의 필요함을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구는 TAT A 그림 검사에 대한 다양한 활용 방안을 제시했다는 데 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the response characteristics of adolescents' emotional and behavioral overcontrol expressed through the Thematic Apperception Test for Adolescents(TAT A) and the meaning of their experiences. For this purpose, from August through September 2022, 20 adolescents in the 5th grade of elementary school through the 3rd grade of middle school in Gyeonggi do were selected as research participants and TAT A interviews were conducted. Data were analyzed using interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA) and NVivo 12.0 in accordance with the Reporting Guidelines for Qualitative Research (COREQ). In result, the characteristics of emotional and behavioral overcontrol of the adolescents analyzed through TAT A were analyzed as 1) social comparison, perfection, 2) strictness, experiencing dissatisfaction and frustration, and 3) suppressing behavior. Additionally, this helps overcontrolled adolescents express themselves through creative activities. In conclusion, TAT A provided a safe healing space for overcontrolled adolescents and confirmed their need for practical and psychological support. The implication of this study is to suggest various ways to utilize the TAT A picture test.
