본 연구는 출생시 까다로운 기질을 타고났으며 어머니와의 불안정한 애착으로 인해 불안장애를 보인 여아의 개별 놀이치료 및 어머니 개별 상담 사례이다. 치료자는 아동에게 일관적이며 수용적인 신뢰로운 관계경험을 통해 불안을 완화시킬 수 있는 아동중심놀이치료를 실시하였으며, 만성적으로 불안하고 우울하며 과도한 양육스트레스를 지속적으로 경험하고 있는 어머니에게는 개별로 지지적 심리상담 및 부모교육을 실시하였다. 치료결과 여아의 불안증상이 완화되었으며 동시에 자존감이 향상되고 긍정적 자아상이 형성되었고 학교생활에 비교적 잘 적응하는 모습을 보였다. 뿐만 아니라 아동의 놀이치료와 동시에 진행된 어머니 상담 및 부모교육을 통해 어머니의 우울감과 불안감이 완화되었으며, 아동과의 긍정적이고 적절한 상호작용이 증진되어 최종적으로 부모-자녀관계가 향상되었다. 그러나 아동과 어머니에 대한 개별적 개입이 적절히 진행되었음에도 불구하고 반복적으로 지속되고 있는 부부갈등이 어머니의 스트레스와 우울감 증가에 위험요인이 될 수 있기 때문에 추후 부부 상담을 계획하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of play therapy for a child diagnosed anxiety disorder and individual psychotherapy with her mother. The subject was a 6-year-old girl with anxiety disorder. The case formulation was that the anxiety problem came from the combination of difficult temperament and insecure attachment with mother. The goals of therapy were two. First, decreasing the anxiety through the therapist's consistent and acceptable relationship with anxious child. Second, providing the individual psychotherpay child's mother who is depressive and anxious. The results were that child The effects of play therapy and individual psychotherapy with mother were that child's anxiety problems were decreased, self-esteem was promoted, and the level of life stress was reduced. Also mother's depressive and anxious symptoms were reduced and the relationship with child was improved.
