This study was performed to investigate the relationship between the mother’s attachment to young child and young child’s emotion regulation. The research subjects were 147 mothers who had 3-6 years old children. In order to analyze the research question, frequency, percentage, Cronbach’s α, ANOVA, Duncan, Pearson correlations and regression test were conducted. As a result, there were significant differences in young child’s emotion regulation depending on the degree of mother’s attachment to young child. Second, of the sub-factors, pursuit of contact appeared to be a significant variable that affects young child’s emotion.
