본 연구는 부적응 자녀를 둔 이혼가정의 어머니 1명에게 텍스트 기반 상담을 실시하여 어머니의 변화과정과 변화요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 ‘사랑의 노트’, ‘양육파일’ 및 면담자료 등 주로 텍스트를 질적 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 어머니는 상담초기 회피하기, 분노하기, 자책하기 등 부정적 정서를 표출하였지만 점차 텍스트 기반 상담을 편안하게 인식하여 주변의식하기, 걱정하기, 어려움 표현하기 등 실제적 어려움을 표현하였다. 글을 통한 지속적인 성찰과정을 통해 자신을 사랑하기, 자녀와 소통하기, 세상에 맞서기 등 진정한 삶의 과제를 찾게 되었다. 둘째, 텍스트 기반 상담은 텍스트라는 매체를 통해 자기노출과 반성을 하면서 진정한 자기와의 만남이 이루어지고, 독립된 개체이자 한 가정의 가장으로서 역량을 발휘하게 되었다.
The study focused on finding out how a divorced mother of a maladjusted child would changes and changing factors by conducting a text-based counselling in the process of play therapy for her young child. To achieve the goal, a qualitative analysis on texts such as‘Love note’, ‘Nurturing file’ and other counselling references was carried out. According to the results, first, the mother expressed only negative feelings in the beginning of the counseling which were denial, anger exposure and a sense of guilt. However, as she became familiar with the text-based counselling, she began to be interested in the surroundings, talk about her worries and difficulties which were considered actual problems in her life. Through constant self-reflections by writing, the mother found true life projects which were to love herself, to communicate with the child and to face with the world. Second, through the media, the text-based counselling, the mother became to express herself, looking back into the past reflectively. In the end, she met the genuine self which would led her to display her abilities as both an independent individual and a head of a household.
