The purpose of this study was to find out if the group theraplay program had a positive effect on sociality development by applying it to withdrawal children. The subjects of the study were among the children aged 4 and 5 who were enrolled in a daycare center in Daegu, 20 children who were 65T or more in the withdrawal area of the K-C-TRF (Korean version of Caregiver-Teacher Report Form) with 10 in a test group and 10 in a control group. Data for effect verification were processed by a one-way ANOVA based on SPSS 22.0 pre-and post-scores of a tool for measuring the sociality development in each group. The results of this study were as follows. First, The group theraplay program has had a positive effect on the sociality development of withdrawal children. Second, The group theraplay program has had positive effects on cooperation, others understanding, autonomy, and peer interaction improvement which are sub-factors of the sociality development of withdrawal children.
