The purpose of this study was to determine how parental attachment system breakdown (attachment), emotional management failure (self-regulation), and self-system damage (competence) affect the relationship between parental abuse and neglect dut to attachment trauma symptoms. From January 3 to January 21, 2022, the study subjects analyzed 369 questionnaires of parents and infants serving in kindergartens and counseling rooms aged 5 to 6 (before elementary school attendance) in D city. First, the results of the study showed that the parental psychological mechanisms of parental attachment system collapse (attachment), emotional management failure (self-regulation), and self-system damage (competence) were correlated in the relationship between parental abuse and neglect due to infant attachment trauma symptoms.
