The purpose of this study is to provide the improvement for development of sports arbitration. This paper examines the types of domestic sports disputes and presents relating cases. Due to the uniqueness of sports disputes, parties of a case would like to solve their disputes at speed, confidentially and efficiently. In this regard, arbitration may be more appropriate than a court trial. However, as a dispute resolution system, current domestic arbitration for sports disputes exposed several problems: lack of professional arbitrators for sports disputes, procedural elements of delay and Lack of promotion of arbitration system. Therefore, sports arbitration should be improved as follows: first, arbitration institution should appoint professional sports arbitrators. Second, it should publish a standard contract with relating institutions. Third, international arbitration institutions should form a network each other.
