중국에서도 야구에 대한 관심이 점차 증대되고 있다. 중국야구의 보급이 확대되려면 야구협회의 조직이 완벽히 운영되어야 한다. 야구협회업무범위 확대를 통해 중국 야구협회와 각 전문위원회의 관리기능이 제대로 발휘되도록 해야 한다. 중국정부 또한 야구 발전을 위해 재정, 세수, 금융, 스포츠경기장 건설 기획 및 용지에 대한 요구 등 우대혜택 제공에 충실함으로써 야구 보급이 원활하게 진행되도록 해야 한다. 야구에 대한 투자와 관련해서는 융자 및 투자 등 프랜차이즈방식을 긍정적으로 고려할 필요가 있으며, 도심지역 내 야구장시설 건설 등 PPP방식을 채택하는 것이 바람직하다. 방송매체와 신문잡지, 인터넷과 소셜네트워킹 등의 수단을 적절히 활용하여야 하며, 이를 통해 야구시합 중계권의 유료화를 정착시켜야 한다. 학교와 프로야구 구단 경영에 관심있는 기업간의 협력을 강화하고 야구산업 교류센터를 수립하여 야구선수와 야구감독, 코칭스태프, 심판 등에 대한 평가체제를 구축하고 선수자격에 대한 기준 제정을 연구해야 한다. 궁극적으로는 지역전문가들과 지역에 연고를 둔 기업이 프로야구 구단 경영에 공동참여하는 것을 고려해야 한다. 또 매니저제도 운영을 검토해야 한다. 스포츠 특성상 경기장 내외에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고 방지를 위해 주최측은 중국 내에서 중국 공안기관과의 관리 및 협력을 강화해야 한다. 세계에서 가장 수준높은 경기력을 유지하고 있는 미국 메이저리그와의 지속적인 협력 강화는 중국야구협회 내지 중국야구리그 입장에서도 필수코스로 인식하여야 한다. 프로구단의 다양한 팬 서비스 마케팅을 통해 성공적으로 수익을 창출하고 있는 미국 프로구단의 사례를 적극적으로 벤치마킹하여야 한다. 이를 통해서 중국 내에서도 야구와 관련하여 흑자경영을 실현할 수 있는 기반으로 삼아야 함은 물론이다. 가장 중요한 것은 국민들 스스로 어려서부터 자발적으로 야구라는 스포츠를 친근감있게 대하도록, 자연스러운 접촉과 스포츠와 건강에 대한 관심 유도가 필요시된다.
