In The purpose of this study was to define the concept of fairness, which is an important value for sports and society, and to contemplate the operation of the Sports Fair Committee. The structure of the study to achieve the purpose of this study is as follows. First, the meaning and scope of fairness in sports was discusded, and the legal and policy backgrounds of the operation of the Sports Fair Committee were summarized. In addition, some issues related to the operation of the Sports Fair Committee were discussed, and a plan for the development of the Sports Fair Committee was finally suggested. The key points derived through this discussion process are as follows. First, the scope of the sports process is divided into three categories. It can be divided into fairness as an attribute inherent in the sports field, administrative and operational fairness, and the socially required fair value of sports. Second, there is a need for an integrated operating guideline of the Sports Fair Committee. Third, the realization of disciplinary-centered fair values should be avoided. Fourth, the professionalism of the Sports Fair Committee should be strengthened, and the overall operational structure should be organically combined. Fifth, a legal basis for judgment is required, and a deep discussion on issues such as double disciplinary action is necessary. Sixth, complementary and integrated operation with related organizations is required. Seventh, it is necessary to improve the appointment qualifications and operation method of the members of the steering committee. Although this study discussed the operation of the Sports Fair Committee, further discussion is required to normalize the overall operation of the sports organization, social consensus, preventive education, and establishment of the system. Through this, the establishment of a macroscopic social safety net for the realization of sports fairness should be discussed.
