The purpose of this study was to suggest the necessity and direction of mid- to long-term policy establishment for sports industry jobs. The research scope set to achieve the purpose of this study was to confirm the necessity of establishing mid- to long-term policies for national sports jobs. This study aimed to raise issues by analyzing the current status of jobs in the sports industry report. In addition, the ultimate purpose of this study was looking at development proposals including the plug-in connection area when establishing mid- to long-term connections to sports occupations. The composition and deployment are as follows. First, the need for a mid- to long-term sports industry job policy was presented. Next, through an analysis of the current status of jobs in the sports industry, the positive and negative aspects of the current policy were identified. Next, the transitional demand for the mid- to long-term sports professional job policy was confirmed. It was analyzed in three aspects: establishment of mid- to long-term vision, adoption of convergence and complex technologies, and development and operation of a prediction system. Finally, in order to suggest reorganize the law, the text analysis conducted on 「Basic Sports Act」, 「National Sports Promotion Act」, and 「Sports Industry Promotion Act」 related with professional manpower and jobs development. The conclusions drawn through the discussion and analysis process are as follows. First, in order to establish a mid- to long-term policy for sports industry professionals, it is first necessary to establish a long-term vision. Second, strategic design is needed through the use of sports convergence and complex technologies. Third, a comprehensive and systematic job forecasting system should be introduced at the national level. The introduced systematic job forecasting system should be utilized in real time in various fields. Fourth, in order to nurture sports professionals and create jobs, it is absolutely necessary to supplement damage to the 「Basic Sports Act」'. Fifth, the 「National Sports Promotion Act」 should specify the grounds for administrative jobs and institutional support as now. Sixth, in the 「Sports Industry Promotion Act」, legal grounds for the development of professional talent in the sports industry, creation of sports jobs, and management should be prepared.
