Alcoholic abuse is a fatal disease to the abuser. The alcoholic addiction destroy not only the abuser but also the whole family members and society. I believe that individual or family therapies can't deal with the addictor and the family by themselves. Psycho-physical-spiriutal and social approaches shold come together to deal with this disease. In this article I tried to show how to help the alcoholic family members from Boweniam family therapy perspective. For easier understanding, I used one clinical case which I have been dealing with for almost 7months. I wish this article would help you to understand Bowen's theories and its applications to the alcholic family.
