The purpose of this article is to figure out what is the cause of so-called mid-life crisis. The term mid-life crisis secularly means to have extra-marital affairs and grieve about one s aging body and so on. But what this article emphasizes is that all general phenomena of mid-life crisis is rooted in unconsciously the fear of death. In order to defense the fear of death mid-lifers unconsciously have used one s particularity and ultimate rescuer. In this sense mid-life crisis can be sublimed in terms of understanding one s fear of death in the perspective of religious belief.
