국문초록

This model was formulated by restructuring Lartey’s methodology by adding narrative therapy. The model is based on the result of a preliminary survey in May, 2005, and its program as ‘a cyclic process of practice’has been continuously structured, evaluated and executed from January 2006 to the present. Its contents are not static, fixed with evaluation, but are supplemented continuously in the field of pastoral counseling. The contents of the model include 4 domains ? individual, group, society and spirituality. The individual domain is composed of counseling for ADHD children and their parents, the group domain of parent education, parent meeting, group therapy for children, the society domain of symbolic social activities, and the spirituality domain of collaborative learning, healing and recovery. This study is significant as it provides in-depth viewpoints on mothers’ experience process of raising their children with ADHD, in the context of Korean culture. It is additional helpful for pastoral counseling with theoretical schemes and practical principles so that mothers of children with ADHD may care for oneself, their children, and their family.
