This study conducted a psychological diagnostic assessment of abused children through Diagnostic assessment manual for abused children using figures, and confirmed abuse facts they experienced through. For the study, three abused children were selected from the Child Protection Agency the researcher belonged. They made statements about the reason why they selected and arranged the figures in the stages for search of self, family relationship and relationship with abusers. It was analyzed and interpreted according to the four symbol systems and the meaning systems of animal figures. As a result, it confirmed this psychological diagnostic assessment is effective to safely diagnose and assess them through non–verbal approach. And also it revealed the characteristics of the effect of child abuse and the process of the Diagnostic assessment using figures for abused children causes the experience of child abuse to be viewed together with the abused child.
