This study aims to investigate the symbolic structures of children who experienced early parental loss. Through detailed analysis of the self-awareness, awareness of others, and the relationship patterns, results were obtained. This process strictly followed the method of psychological diagnostic assessment using symbolic figures. The self-awareness of those children was classified as a figure symbol system of strength and independence, whereas the awareness of others was into number 1 and 2. In number 1, structures such as stability, peace, and a hope for integration coexisted with fixation, obstacles and chaos. In number 2, balance of the mind together with the hope for harmony were shown. Futhermore, the relationship patterns were proved to be either avoidant or purpose-oriented. This study manages not only to provide valuable understanding of the characteristics of those children but also act as primary information for the effective intervention based on the understanding of their traumatic ex-periences.
