본 연구의 목적은 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등 통합교과 ‘즐거운 생활’의 음악 관련 내용을 분석하고 교사들의 활용 경험을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교과서의 제재곡, 활동 및 발문, 악보 유형 등을 분석하고 통합 교과서 활용 경험이 있는 초등 1-2학년 담임교사 14명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 교과서에 다양한 장르의 곡이 제시되어 있지만 학생 발달 단계와 맞지 않은 곡들이 다수 있었고, 가창 영역이 주를 이루고 있는데 음악 고유의 활동이 많지 않은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 악보 없이 노랫말만 있는 경우가 가장 많았는데 이러한 경우 교사의 수업 활용이 어렵다는 의견을 확인했다. 또한, 다른 영역에 비해 음악 활동 과정이 구체적이지 않은 것도 확인하였다. 향후 교육과정 개발 시 적절한 곡 선정, 음악 활동의 다양화, 악보 제공 방식 개선, 수업 안내 강화, 다른 교과와의 연계 방안 마련이 필요함을 제언하였다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the music-related content in the ‘Pleasant Life’ Textbook under the 2022 revised curriculum and explore teachers’ experiences in utilizing it. The analysis focused on song selection, activities, prompts, and music notation types, supplemented by interviews with 14 teachers who have experience using the textbook. The findings indicate that while the textbook includes various genres, many songs are not developmentally appropriate. Singing activities dominate, but music-specific activities are limited. It was found that the majority of songs were presented without musical notation, consisting only of lyrics, which teachers reported as challenging to utilize in their lessons. Additionally, music activities are less structured than those in other subjects. Based on these findings, this study suggests improving song selection, diversifying music activities, enhancing notation formats, strengthening instructional guidance, and fostering interdisciplinary connections. Further research is encouraged to refine the curriculum.
