연구목적: 본 연구는 DECA-P2 (Devereux Early Childhood Assessment for Preschoolers, Second Edition)를 한국어로 번안하고, 유아 회복탄력성 평가 도구로서의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 유아교사 340명의 응답 자료를 대상으로 SPSS 25와 AMOS 29.0을 사용하여 문항의 정규성 검토와 함께 탐색적․확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 자료 분석 결과, DECA-P2는 자기조절, 애착/관계, 주도성의 3요인 구조로 확인되었으며, 수정된 확인적 요인모형은 수용 가능한 적합도 지수를 보여 구조적 타당성이 입증되었다. 이는 DECA-P2가 회복탄력성의 핵심 구성요인을 한국 문화적 맥락에 적합하게 반영하며, 유아 회복탄력성 평가를 위한 타당한 측정도구로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다. 결론: 본 연구는 DECA-P2를 한국어로 번안하고 그 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하여, 유아 회복탄력성을 평가할 수 있는 문화적으로 적합하고 검증된 측정 도구를 제시하였다. 이를 통해 향후 회복탄력성 연구의 평가 기반을 강화하고, 교육 현장과 정책 수립에 활용 가능한 실증적 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Objective: This study aimed to translate the Devereux Early Childhood Assessment for Preschoolers, Second Edition (DECA-P2) into Korean and to evaluate its psychometric properties, with an emphasis on its validity and reliability as a tool for measuring resilience in young children. Methods: Data from 340 early childhood teachers were analyzed using SPSS 25 and AMOS 29.0. Analyses included assessments of item normality, followed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: The findings indicated that the DECA-P2 comprised a three factor structure regulation, attachment/relationships, and initiative. The modified confirmatory factor model demonstrated acceptable fit indices, supporting the structural validity of the instrument. These results suggest that the DECA-P2 adequately reflects the core components of resilience within the Korean cultural context. Conclusions: This study successfully translated the DECA-P2 into Korean and validated its psychometric properties, providing evidence for its cultural appropriateness and empirical utility in assessing resilience in young children. This establishes a foundation for future resilience research and offers empirical data that can inform educational practice and policy development.
